The notification for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2014 has issued very recently. Candidates interested to attend the exam can make interactions with GATE office through an online interface, ‘GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS)’. This interface can be accessed from the website of the respective Zonal GATE Offices or the institute organizing GATE 2014. Through GOAPS, aspirants can make online registration. Application fee payment can be done via online or offline mode.

The Shivalik College of Engineering located in Dehradun, is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to the Uttrakhand Technical University. The institute offers courses such as B.Tech in Civil Engineering, B.Tech in ECE, and diploma in mechanical engineering. HSC passed candidates with a minimum of 45% marks can join to B.Tech degree on the basis of AIEEE score. Those who have passed 10th/12th class studies can join to diploma courses on merit basis.

Engineering/MCA holders can join to M.Tech degree where as B.Sc holders in disciplines like Biochemistry, Economics, or Molecular Biology can join to M.Sc degree.
