Career Development Programme is conducted for improving student’s skills in areas like Creativity, Group Discussion, Interpersonal Skills, Presentation Skills, and Situational Conversation. MSIT-ESE is a master’s programme, conducted in collaboration with SRM University, Kattankulathur and Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA. This course is related to the design and maintenance of embedded software intensive systems. Duration of the course is 2 years, in which students should complete one year of studies at SRM, Chennai and the rest at CMU. Engineering graduates with a minimum of 60% marks in streams like Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Information Technology can apply. Admission process is made after considering factors such as educational qualification, industrial experience, and software development maturity.
Life Insurance Corporation of India has notified around 100 vacancies for the profile of ‘Financial Services Executive’ in the northern zone of India. Bachelor degree holders from any of the recognized University can apply. Computer proficiency and knowledge in English language is preferred qualifications. Selection process is made through a written exam (if necessary) and interview. Questions from topics such as reasoning, numerical ability, and general knowledge are asked for the written test, if conducted. Interested candidates with required qualifications can submit applications till 21st August 2013.

Engineering Colleges affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) are located in cities of Palwal, Rohtak, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Mohindergarh, Mewat, and Rewari. Rohtak Institute of Engineering & Management, Delhi Institute of Technology Management & Research, Gurgaon Institute of Technology & Management, Suraj College of Engineering & Technology, etc are some of the engineering colleges affiliated to MDU.
Diploma courses in agriculture are available at graduate and post graduate levels. Diploma in Meat Technology, Diploma in Fodder and Seed Management, Diploma in Seed Production Technology, etc are some of the diploma courses available in agriculture. PG diploma courses are available in subjects of Applied Agriculture and Information Technology, Pulp and Paper Technology, and Agricultural Extension Management. Admission to LL.M programme (one year duration) in Pune University is done on the basis of an entrance test and interview. Selection process is conducted for 100 marks, out of which 70 marks given for written test and rest for interview. Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, General English, Human Rights, General Knowledge, etc are the main topics covered for the entrance test. Graduates in law can submit online applications for the academic year 2013-14 till August 16th, 2013.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur offers admission to courses such as B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Mechatronics, M.Des, and Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering. Tuition fee for pursuing any of these courses is Rs. 2500/- per semester. Semester wise fee for B.Tech course is Rs.16000/- and that for M.Tech is Rs.19,400/-.
Karnatak University offers PG diploma courses in various subjects such as Epigraphy, Remote Sensing, Linguistics, Industrial Chemistry, and Yoga Studies. Science graduates with Chemistry as a subject of study and with at least 50% marks can apply for PG diploma in Industrial Chemistry. Graduates with certificate in Yoga studies can apply for PG diploma in Yoga Studies.

The Broadband Based Executive Education Programme (BBEEP) is an online, interactive platform where courses are delivered using broad band technology. Courses offered under BBEEP are CPM, PGCPM, and PGDM-EL. Faculties from IIM, Indore will deliver lecture sessions for participating students through e-learning mode. Graduates in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks can apply. Selection procedure is done on the basis of an entrance test called the Broad band Aptitude Test (BAT) carried out by IIM, Indore.
