B.Sc (Medical Technology) is the only bachelor degree course offered at Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Pune. The course is offered with specialization in streams like Dialysis Technology, Respiratory Therapy, and Clinical Lab Technology. HSC passed candidates in specific subjects can seek admission on the basis of Symbiosis Entrance Test (conducted by SIU). Questions from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are asked for this objective model entrance test. Applications for attending the entrance exam can be submitted online through the website of SIU.

Notification for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013 for admission to MBA is already issued. Applications can be submitted online from August 5th to September 24th. During application process, aspirant should carefully mention the test centres. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in cities like Bhopal, Durgapur, Gurgaon, Kochi, Lucknow, Nagpur, and Shillong.
Courses like B.E in Civil Engineering, M.Tech in Digital Communication and Networking, M.Tech in Water Resources Management and MCA are offered at Bheemanna Khandre Institute of Technology. Admission to B.E courses are done on the basis of state/national level entrance exam such as COMED-K, AIEEE, or JEE (Main). Engineering graduates with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks can seek admission on the basis of GATE or PGCET.

Finishing School in Biotechnology (FSBT) is an initiative of Kerala Agricultural University. Main objective behind this programme is to improve the professional skills of M.Sc./ B.Tech graduates (in Biotechnology) and to make them industry-ready. Duration of the program is one year. First three months is kept aside for inhouse training on laboratory techniques in molecular biology and biotechnology. Next six months is meant for industrial training. Rest of three months is scheduled for entrepreneurship development and refinement of lacunae recognized by the concerned industries.

Indian students pursuing Ph.D degree in selected institutes of Switzerland can apply for Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships. This Swiss Government is offering this scholarship for meritorious students. Master degree or equivalent, recognized by the Swiss University is the basic qualification required. Selected students are given with a monthly stipend of 1920 Swiss Francs, swiss health insurance, tuition fee waiver, air fare payment, and half-fare for public transportation (for 1 year).

Punjab University offers B.Sc courses in subjects like Microbiology, Geology, Bio-Physics, Botany, and Chemistry. HSC passed candidates in specific subjects with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for admission. For written test, there will be 55 questions that must be completed within 60 minutes.
