Candidates having qualifications such as MBBS, B.E/B.Tech, or B.V.Sc can apply for M.Sc (Bioinformatics) in Pune University. Selection of eligible candidates is made on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the University. Topics like English Language, Logical Reasoning, Computer Science, Molecular Biology, and Genetics are asked for the entrance test. Application for attending the entrance test can be submitted online through the web site of Pune University.

Amrutvahini College of Engineering (AVCOE) is one among the reputed institutions offering admission to professional courses in engineering and management. Engineering courses are available in streams like Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. HSC passed candidates can participate in the selection process for Data Entry Operator/Clerk conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Selection process for Data Entry Operator consist of a written test and skill test and that for Lower Division Clerk includes written test and typing test on Computer. Written test comprises of objective model questions from topics of English Language, General Awareness, General Intelligence, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Doctor of Philosophy in Agriculture Biotechnology, Doctor of Philosophy in Forest Products, Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Pathology, Doctor of Philosophy in Tree Improvements, Doctor of Philosophy in Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry, etc are some of the Ph.D courses available in Agricultural Sciences.
Parasitology, Diversity of Chordates, Economic Zoology, Cell biology, etc are the topics included under the syllabus for Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) (M.Sc Zoology). Reference books like Invertebrate Zoology by Jordon and Verma, Elements of Chordate Anatomy by Weichert, Cell Biology- Cooper, Principles of Animal Physiology by Wood, and Parasitology by Singh, H.S. and Rastogi, P can be used for studies.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has invited applications for the profiles of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT). Applications can be submitted online through the website of KVS. The application fee for attending the written test is Rs. 750/- and it can be remitted either through credit/debit card or Bank challan.

B.Tech in CSE, B.Tech in ME, BJMC, etc are some of the UG courses offered at Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU). Post graduates courses like M.Sc in Mathematics, MBA in Health Care, and M.Tech in Embedded Systems are also offered through the University. Integrated courses such as B.Tech + MBA, M.Sc + MCA, and B.Tech + M.Tech are offered in a variety of subjects. Ph.D Courses are available in streams of Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and so on.
Candidates having obtained at least 55% marks in master’s degree and 50% marks in bachelor’s degree are eligible for Ph.D course in Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU). Admission process is done on the basis of an entrance test and interview conducted by the university. Written test is conducted for 100 marks and interview for 50 marks. In order to get through the screening process, candidates should obtain at least 50% marks in written test and 45% marks in interview.
