Engineering graduates in subjects of Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent are eligible for campus placement in 3i-Infotech. Recruitment is made through the process of written test, GD, and HR interview. Questions on Verbal Ability, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude are asked for written test.

Quantum School of Technology offers B.Tech, M.Tech and diploma courses in a variety of technical streams. Meritorious students pursuing such courses are given with financial support in the form of scholarships. The Scholarships are usually awarded at the middle of the first semester. B.Tech students having obtained 75% or above marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (aggregate) are offered with scholarship of Rs. 10,000/-. An amount of Rs. 18,000/- is given for diploma students who have obtained above 85% marks in 10th class.

Krupajal Engineering College offers B.Tech degree in streams such as Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Computer Science and Technology, Power Electronics and Drives, Heat Power Engineering, etc are some of the streams available in M.Tech. Admission to B.Tech course is offered either to 1st year or directly to second year. B.Tech admissions are done on the basis of OJEE score. Marks obtained by the candidate in GATE is considered for admission to M.Tech programme.

The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training is the authority that conducts Joint Entrance Test (JET) for admission to polytechnics in the state of Punjab. SSC passed candidates can apply for the test by collecting the application form from the board’s office, affiliated polytechnics, etc. Exam centers for attending the test should be intimated at the time submitting application. Exam centers are usually available in major cities like Amloh, Bhogpur, Dasua, Gardhiwala, Kanpur, Mohali, Rayya, and Zira.
The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Dehradun offers diploma courses in Food Production and Food & Beverage Service. PG Diploma in Accommodation Operations & Management is also awarded through this institute. Pass in HSC is the basic qualification for diploma courses where as graduation is the main qualification for PG diploma course. Admission process is carried out on merit basis. Tuition fee for Diploma in Food Production and PG Diploma in Accommodation Operations & Management is Rs. 4000/-.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has invited application for the position of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). Master degree in the concerned stream with a minimum of 50% marks is the basic qualification required. Except for PGT in subjects of Biotechnology and Computer Science, applicants should hold B.Ed degree from a recognized University. Proficiency is teaching (in English and Hindi) is also mandatory.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) often conducts a national level entrance test (Open Management Admission Test) for the selection of eligible candidates to various management courses offered under the University. Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM), etc are some of such management courses. Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply. There are 200 objective type questions for IGNOU Open MAT. Questions are asked from topics like English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.
B.E courses in PEC University of Technology are available in streams like Aerospace Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The institute awards M.E courses in subjects such as Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Industrial Design. Admission to B.E courses are done on the basis of AIEEE score and that for M.E on the basis of GATE or written test conducted by the concerned department.

Animal and Fisheries Resource Department, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), National Institute of Health & Family Welfare, etc are some other firms where these candidates can apply for jobs.
M.Sc (Genomics) is a demanded course offered through few institutes like Central University of Kerala, Madurai Kamaraj University, and Maharshi Dayanand University. Course curriculum for the course includes subjects such as System Biology, Developmental Biology, Human Molecular Genetics, Neurogenetics, and Genomic instability. Degree holders in physical sciences, chemical sciences, medicine, or agriculture are eligible for admission. Admission to the course in MKU is done on the basis of entrance exam (50 marks) and seminar presentation (50 marks).
