Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission actually became an independent Public Service Commission in the year 1971 on the 25th of January and prior to this, the jobs of public service commission for the state of Himachal Pradesh (i.e.) recruitment of candidates for government job positions in the state was taken care by the Union Public Service Commission.

Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Applications Centre (APSRSAC) is an autonomous society functioning under the state government of Andhra Pradesh and the centre is a registered society under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001. The centre is wholly equipped with all latest software and hardware programs needed for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information system in a wide range of disciplines.
