Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited has its headquarter located at Janpath, New Delhi. The corporation was incorporated in the year 2006 under Companies Act, 1956. The corporation came into existence after the corporatisation of nine units. The so called nine units includes four mints, four pressess and one paper mill. The corporation has been awarded the status of being a Miniratna Category-I CPSE. Approximatley, 15 thousand employees are working in the nine units of Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited. Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited was established under the Government of India. The corporation has one of the biggest Lignite Mines in the country under it. Nearly 25 million tones mines are mined every year by the corporation. The corporation has a power capacity of approximately 2490 MW. Government Post Graduate College shortly called as GPGC, Dwarahat came into existence in the year 1983 and the college is affiliated to the Kumaun University.
