M.Tech (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) is a PG course in engineering, suitable especially for mechanical engineers. Engineering graduates in streams like Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering can also seek admission to this course. Sashastra Seema Bal is a Central Armed Police Force functioning under the Ministry of Home Affairs recruits eligible candidates for Assistant Sub Inspector (Telecommunication) post. HSC qualified candidates in science stream can apply. Also, diploma holders in streams like Electronics or Telecommunication can apply for the same. The selection process for this position includes three stages such as - Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Written Examination.
Heera College of Engineering & Technology (HCET) offers B.Tech courses in streams like Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical and Electronics engineering. The admission for these courses will be based on merit – depending on the rank obtained in KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical) entrance examination. A training and Placement cell functioning in this college is the responsible authority which coordinates and arranges key training activities related to student placements. They take care of the personality development programmes in areas aptitude training, language based training, technical training and logical analysis.
HSC passed students having scored a minimum of 45% marks can apply for B.Sc (Information Technology) in NM College of Economics and Commerce. It is necessary to study Mathematics or Statistics as subjects in HSC. On the other hand, diploma holders in streams like Information Technology, Electronics and Video Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology are also eligible to apply. The selection for this course will be on merit basis. Tuition fee for pursuing the course amounts to Rs 10, 000/- per month.
