Graduates in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks can apply for 3 year LL.B programme in Kerala. An entrance test is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations for the admission process. Applications for attending this entrance test can be submitted online through the website of CEE. Those who qualify the entrance test can seek admission to LL.B course in any of the four government law colleges, after a centralized allotment process.

B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/MCA qualified candidates in streams like Computer Science, Information Technology, and Applied Electronics can participate in the campus placement process of Cisco. Campus placement procedures in Cisco are conducted in two stages. First stage of the recruitment process is an objective type written test focusing on topics like general aptitude and subject knowledge. Those who pass this level should undergo a technical cum HR interview level for confirming their final selection.
GATE is conducted for admission to higher study programs where as IES exam is conducted for recruiting candidates to engineering services departments. GATE is conducted by IISc and IIT’s for M.E/M.Tech admissions and IES exam is carried out by UPSC for finding suitable candidates for specific government services like Indian railway service, Indian defense services, Indian Naval Armament Service and Indian Telecommunication services. These two exams also differ in the exam pattern, eligibility requirements and so on.
Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has invited applications for Management Trainee (MT) posts in technical and administration discipline. Engineering graduates in streams like Metallurgy Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering can apply for MT (Technical) where as PGDM/MBA holders can try for MT (Administration) posts. Selection process includes a written examination, GD and interview. Interested candidates with adequate eligibility can submit online applications through the website of SAIL.

Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE – Hyderabad) for selecting suitable candidates to MBA/MCA courses in any reputed universities or other affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks can apply. It is essential to attain 25% marks in ICET to get admission for either MBA/MCA courses. Test centers are arranged in cities like Vikarabad, Vijayawada, Anantapur, Amalapuram, Nellore and Vijayawada.

Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET) is conducted for selecting candidates to MCA course in different institutes of Maharashtra. IBSAR Trust’s IBSAR Institute of Management Studies, Bansilal Ramnath Agarawal Charitable Trust’s Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, G. H. Raisoni Institute of Information Technology, Ankush Shikshan Sanstha’s G.H.Raisoni College of Engineering, Government College of Engineering, Karad, etc are some of the colleges accepting MAH MCA CET score.
Aeronautical Engineering qualified graduates can apply for prominent job openings in public sector companies like HAL, GIC, and Indian Coast Guard. For Specialist Officer Position in General Insurance Company (GIC), eligible candidates are offered with a basic salary of Rs 17, 240 per month. Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) often recruits these graduates to Engineer/Scientist job position with a pay scale of Rs.15, 600 – 39,100/- per month (along with a grade pay of Rs 7,600/-). Private sector companies normally offer an initial salary between Rs 15,000 to Rs 30,000/- per month. They can earn up to Rs. 1 lakh per month after gaining adequate work experience.

Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Banking (PGDRB) is a 4 month program conducted by IFBI. The course is conducted exclusively for selecting candidates to Officer level positions in Axis Bank. Bachelor degree holders with a minimum of 50% marks can seek admission to the course through IFBI’s Common Entrance Test and a two stage interview process. First stage interview will be conducted by ICET and second stage by Axis bank. Selected candidates will be provided with provisional appointment letter by IFBI and Conditional Offer Letter by axis bank. Applications can be submitted online through the web portal of IFBI.
