The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) offers UG courses like B.Pharm, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, and B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. M.Tech, MCA, M.Pharm, and MBA are the PG courses available under the University. Ph.D degree is given in subjects such as Computer Science & Engineering, Management Science, and Mathematics.
Admission of eligible candidates to Ph.D in Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) of Baroda is done on the basis of an entrance test. Master’s degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks is the necessary qualification required. PET consists of questions from general aptitude, and subject related topics. Those who get through PET must qualify personality test also.

Jadavpur University offers admission to M.Sc degree in streams like Chemistry, Electronic Science, Biotechnology, and Instrumentation. Candidates with B.Sc degree in any of the subjects can apply for M.Sc (Biotechnology). Science graduates in Geology/Geological Sciences with Physics/Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects are eligible to apply for M.Sc (Applied Geology). This qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 55% marks.

Francis Xavier Engineering College affiliated to Anna University offers admission to courses such as B.Tech in Civil Engineering, M.E in VLSI Design, M.Tech in IT, MBA, and MCA.
