PTU’s Master’s in Computer Application paper is entirely based on the syllabus comprising of RDBMS II, Software Engineering, System Software, Operating System, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Engineering and Object Oriented Analysis and Design. The paper is of 60 marks with an additional 40 mark project work. The 60 mark paper is divided into four sections namely, A,B,C,D and E. The student is required to attempt any one question from the first four sections. The fifth section is compulsory. Each question in the first four sections is of 10 marks. The fifth section is of 20 marks.

Since it is a three hour paper time allotment should not be a problem at all. All the questions need to be answered in a existing pattern itself. It is better to start a question on a new sheet. The marks assigned to each question are inclusive of marks for diagrams and tables.

It is important to go through previous years’ question paper to get a proper idea of the most likely questions to be asked in the exam. Since the paper pattern does not change across semesters, the student will have a thorough knowledge of what to expect in the paper.

    dear sir/mam i have taken admission in Nov 2011 about the free plane as ur university declared but their is no response form ur side I think my 1 year it getting wasted . I have not received any fee receipt from you .But I have deposit Rs.700 in ur branch which is in favour if registrar punjab technical university Jalandhar through a ptu centre
