Pulmonology is the branch of internal medicine that mainly deals with conditions related to respiratory organs. Those who get specialized in this field are referred to as Pulmonologists. Moreover, the candidate has to get through the recruiting procedure carried by the employer to get in to the job.

The candidates who have completed the HSC course with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects are eligible to undergo the MBBS degree. After completing the degree and internship, one can apply for Doctor of Medicine with specialization in respiratory medicine. Those with MD qualification in the Pulmonology and work experience can apply for the post of pulmonologist.
