Punjab University Bachelor of Education Examination 2012
Punjab University Conduct Entrance Examination for the aspirants of teaching called the Panjab University B. Ed entrance Examination. The examination is carried out to select the potential Candidates for one year program in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). The examination is carried out for the candidates for both regular and correspondence base.
Structure of PU B.Ed Entrance Exam
The B. Ed entrance Examination is an objective type multiple choice examination with four options. The duration of the examination is 90 minutes. The question paper consists of 75 questions with 75 marks. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer and the paper is divided into the following five secessions.
- Part A: General Awareness Test: 15 questions
- Part B: Teaching Potential Test: 15 questions
- Part C: General Mental Ability Test: 15 questions
- Part D: Language Proficiency Test: 15 questions (Punjabi- Compulsory part)
- Part E & F: Language Proficiency Test: 15 questions (English/Hindi)

Eligibility Criteria for PU B.Ed Entrance Exam
The minimum educational qualification required for applying the PU B.Ed entrance examination is graduation in any stream. The students must have 45% marks in the qualifying examination under the recognized university. The student shaving Masters Degree or teaching experience will get an advantage while the selection process.
How to Apply?
The aspirants can get the form from the admission center of the entrance committee of Punjab University with the cash payment. They can also send the request from to the admission center of PU with the application fee through a DD, for getting the application by post. The application form is also available in the selected study centers.
How to fill the Form?
The applicant must carefully read the information booklet and then only start filling the form. They can fill the form with ball point pen, black or Blue as suggested and must enter the needed information correctly. The incomplete form will be rejected, so recheck before sending to the set address. You must attach every necessary document along with the completely application. The form should reach the entrance office before the last dates.
