Radhakrishna Institute is the first of its kind in the city of Bhubaneswar, where engineering education is more that laboratories and books.  The institution was established by the JRG Educational Trust, which takes its roots from the philosophy and life of the well-known Philonthropist and social worker Jagdish Raiji Gupta.

Eligibility and Admission Procedure:

Radhakrishna Institute of Engineering & Technology is permitted to admit 60 students per year for the aforesaid courses and admission of students to these courses are done based on the performance of the students in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Orissa. For seeking admission to these courses, candidates must have completed their higher education under science stream from the higher education board of the state of Orissa or from any other board of education as approved by the Biju Patnaik University of Technology.

Radhakrishna Institute of Engineering & Technology maintains liaison with various organizations for industrial training and recruitment of the engineering graduates. The placement cell at the college maintains close contacts with different employers through email communication, telephonic communication and regular visits to those organizations. The placement cell also has close coordination with various departments functioning in the college to invite eminent personalities from different industries to deliver lectures for the benefit of students. The cell is also maintaining computerized database of students and employers in such a way students are offered with appropriate placement opportunities and this cell is run by a team of eminent staff members with vast industrial experience.
