Reserve Bank Grade A/B Officers Exam 2012
The Reserve Bank of India acts as the centralized body for monitoring the financial sector of the country and also the banking sector. The RBI conduct recruitment exam for the officers post, called RBI Grade A/B officers exam and is one of the common banking exams in the Indian scenario.
Structure
The RBI Exam consists of two parts, the descriptive and the objective paper. The exam is of three hours and the objective exam consist of topics from

Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility is gradation from the recognized university with 60% marks in the qualifying examination. The postgraduate with 55% marks or the candidates from IIM is also eligible to appear for the examination. A PhD holder with 50% marks or a CA/CS/Accountant is also eligible to apply for the exam. The Indian citizen between the age limit 21-30 is eligible for taking the exam. The reservation for the eligible category and foreign residents are there as per the rules.
How to Apply?
One can apply for the exam either by online and the offline mode. The students can follow the link for online application http://onlinedr.rbi.org.in. The application form can be purchased from the designated post offices or can use the same one given in eh advertisement. The filled application from should reach to the designated office before the deadline.
How to fill the Form?
One who is going for the online mode can fill the application form using the given URL and take the print out of the form along with the application fee and the needed documents send to the examination body. The offline applicants have to carefully fill the form using pencil or pen, whatever required, and fill the correct information. Any error will cause to the rejection of your application. Only send the original application form, don’t send any copy or the duplicate one to the examination center. The deadlines are very important in these examinations, the application reached after the time wont be consider for the screening process.

Normally there won’t be any prescribed dates for the RBI officer’s exam. The exam is conducted by the reserve bank as per the vacancies are arise. Usual dates can be

Sectional Cutoff
The cutoff can vary from each year according to the competitive nature of the exam. The candidates need to attend every section and there will be some minimum mark is required to consider for the rank list. Last year the sectional cut off is given as the following. One should get minimum marks in each section in the as below:
- English 17-22
- Numerical 13-18
- Reasoning 32-37
Score Validity
The score is valid until the vacancies are filled mostly before the next exam is conducted.
