Lady Hardinge Medical College was founded in the year 1914 under Government of India. The college actually came into existence after Her Majesty Queen Mary revealed about the lack of seperate medical college for women in the counrty. The foundation stone of the institution was laid by Lady Hardinge on 17 March 1914. The college was named after Lady Hardinge on the suggestion of Queen Mary. Dr. Kate Platt was the first Principal of the college and the college actually started functioning under his leadership only. The college provides various medical courses to the students.

Eligible and well qualified Indian individuals are invited to apply for the Walk-In-Interview for the vacant positions of Senior Resident in Lady Hardinge Medical College and Smr. S.K. Hospital. Candidates will be selected on the specified post on regular basis only in the various departments of Lady Hardinge Medical College and Smr. S.K. Hospital. The post of Senior Resident is available in the Department of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Anaesthesia, Dental, Dermatology, ENT, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Opthalmology, Orthopaedics, Pathology, Physiology, Radiodiagnosis, Pharmacology etc.

Educational Qualification:

Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their applications. Applications receieved from uneligible candidates will not be considered under any circumstances. Those shortlisted candidtaes will then be called for the Walk-In-Interview in the office of the Director. The Walk-In-Interview will be held from 15 July 2011 onwards to 18 August 2011.
