Sri Kalahastiswara Institute of Information and Management Sciences, shortly called as SMIIMS came into existence in the year 2007 and the college is affiliated to the Sri Venkateswara University.

The college is approved by the AICTE to offer MCA course, within a short period of its inception, it has earned the status of one of the premier institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Master of Computer Applications:

MCA is a three-year course offered by Sri Kalahastiswara Institute of Information and Management Sciences and this course is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education. Selection of candidates for the MCA course is done based on the marks secured by the students in their degree course and on the basis of written test and personal interview. MCA is a practical program with 25 classroom coaching and 15 practical coaching conducted for five hours per week.

Master of Business Administration:

Master of Business Administration course extends to a period of two years, which includes theoretical and practical classes. For admission to this course, candidates should have exposure to industries even before they appear for the entrance examination. Candidates are admitted to this course based on their performance in the ICET examination. The course includes 4 case studies and 27 instructional subjects spread over four semesters. Students will have to take the project work between the second the third semester.
