Sri Kandhan College of Arts & Science is a co-education institution affiliated to the Periyar University and the college is promoted by the Sri Kandhan Educational Trust at Bhavani. The college was established with the objective of imparting higher education to urban and rural youth in and around the districts of Salem, Erode and Namakkal.

Admissions:

Admission to the first years of the UG courses offered by the Sri Kandhan College of Arts & Science is open to the students, who have completed their higher secondary examination or its equivalent examination as approved by the Periyar University.

Admission to the first year of the PG Courses offered by the college is open to students, who have completed their degree course in appropriate discipline or equivalent examination as recognized by the Periyar University. Candidates will be selected based on their performance at the interview and immediately after their selection, they will have to pay the course fee.

Placement Cell:

Sri Kandhan College of Arts & Science started a placement information cell for offering update to the students on employment opportunities and a placement committee of the college keeps in touch with several reputed organizations and these organizations are conducting campus recruitment at the college for the betterment of students.  Some of the companies that are conducting campus recruitment at the institution are:
