Profile:
Indian Navy was estbalished by the Government of India as one of the defence wing of the country. It is responsible for protecting the country from any type and maritime attacks or problems. The Indian Navy is considered as one of the most responsible units of the defence system of our country. The Indian Navy has became a mentor to other defence system as well in performing enthusiastic and commendable work.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to join Indian Navy as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer in Aviation Cadre (Observer) of Executive Branch Course depending on their qualification.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have age between 21 to 23 years i.e. born between 2 January 1988 to 1 January 1992 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have Graduate Degree in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects at 10+2 level and atleast 65% marks in aggregate in graduation.
No. of posts: Several vacancies are available in Indian Navy.
Pay SCale: Prescribed amount of salary will be provided to the selected candidates.
Selection Process:
Candidates will have to clear the competitive written examination for getting selected as Short Service Commissioned Officer in Aviation Cadre (Observer) in Indian Navy.

Hello Sir/Madam,I Ankita Kumari wanted to ask about the selection criteria and procedure for the post of SSc Officer in Aviation Cadre(Observer).As my name got selected and i have been called for SSB on 11/03/11.
i am interrested to join indian navy.i got 80%marks,76% marks,60% marks in SSLC,PLUS 2& BCA respectively.My date birth is 1988 oct 19.Is there any chance to apply to indian navy in any batch.
