The Indian Navy is also known as the blue water navy. This is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. There are approximatley 56 thousand personnel employed in this armed forces with 5 thousand in the naval aviation branch, 12 hundred marine commandos and 1 thousand sagar prahari bal. Indian Navy is the fifth largest navy of the world in terms of the personnel. The primary objective of the navy is to secure national maritime borders of the country. One of the another major functions of the navy is to enhance the international relations of the country through joint exercises.

Job Profile:

Indian Navy is inviting applications from unmarried male Indian citizens for the positions of Permanent Service Commission Officer in Law cadre of Executive Branch. Selected candidates will be enrolled for the course commencing January 2012 at Naval Academy, INS, Zemorin, Ezhimala, Kerala.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates should have age more than 22 years but not more than 27 years of age. Candidates should be born between 2 January 1985 to 1 January 1990 (both dates inclusives).

Physical Standards:

Height and Weight: Minimum Height required is 157 cms with correlated weight.
Eye Sight: Standard for distant vision is 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have Degree in Law from any recognized institute or university. Candidates must have secured atleast 55% marks in aggregate in their degree. Candidates having qualification less than the prescribed one, should not apply for the post as their applications will be summarily rejected by the Indian Navy. Less qualified candidates will not be considered eligible for the specified position.

No. of posts: Several posrs are available in Indian Navy.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

No application fee is need to be submitted by the candidates for applying for the specified position in Indian navy.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the above mentioned post on the basis of their performance in all the three stages of the selection process which includes:

i. Competitive Written Examination
ii. Personal Interview Examination
iii. Medical Fitness Examination

How to apply: Candidates should send the application form in the prescribed format and all other required enclosures in an envelope only. Application must be accompanied by attested copies of 10th standard certificate, degree certificate etc. Also, the envelope must have the superscription “LAW CADRE - Jan 2012 COURSE, Educational Qualificiaiton …………… Percentage …….%”.     and in PCM 60% and also i am belongs to OBC categary
    am i eligible for b-tech permanent commission 2012
