Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Staff Nurse will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.8825-16000.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their PUC (10+2 or its equivalent) and must have completed B. Sc Nursing from an institute recognized by the Government of Karnataka and they should also have registered with the Karnataka Governing Council. Even candidates with PUC and GNM or diploma in nursing from an institution recognized by the Government of Karnataka and registered with Karnataka Nursing Council are eligible to apply for the position of Staff Nurse.

Experience: Candidates must possess at least two year of working experience in hospitals with at least 200 beds and they should have worked in emergency department, operation theatre and post operative ward in such hospitals. Preference will be given to candidates with one year working experience in super specialty department of hospitals attached to medical college.

Age: Minimum age requirement is 18 years and maximum age requirement is 35 years for general category candidates. Upper age limit is 38 years for others and 40 years for candidates coming under SC/ST/Cat-I.

Application fee:

Application fee to be paid by general category candidates is Rs.300 and by reserved category candidates is Rs.100, which should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of Special Officer, PMSSY Super Speciality Hospital, Bangalore.
