The Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) was formed on 22 April 1946. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) took the control of this Institute in 1966. The institution deals with the problems of Rainfed uplands and flood prone Rained lowlands through its two research stations - Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station (CRURRS) and the Regional Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS).

Central Rice Research Institute, Cuttack invites application from eligible candidates for the post of T-1, T-3 and T-6 Technical Posts in various disciplines for the institute and its two Sub-stations at CRURRS, Hazaribagh (Jharkhand) and RRLRRS, Gerua (Assam).

No. of posts: T-3 (Computer Assistant) -1; T-3(Farm Assistant) -11; T-6 (Sr. Technical Assistant) – 2; T-1: 22 (Electrician -1, Mechanic -1, Field Assistant -15, Laboratory technician -2, Fitter -2, Draftsman -1)

Pay Scale – T-6 (Sr.technical Assistant) - Rs. 15600-39100 + GP of Rs. 5400; T-3 (Farm Assistant and Computer Assistant) - Rs. 5200-20200 + GP of Rs. 2800; T-1 - Rs. 5200-20200 + GP of Rs.2000.
