Mahatma Gandhi Mission College of Engineering and Technology was set up on the firm principles of providing the best education to its pupils. The college is looked after or managed by Mission Charitable Trust. Since its inception the college has produced a number of favorable changes in the quality of education.

Courses Offered

The college has both undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses in its curriculum to offer to the students. The engineering bachelors’ is provided in the following fields Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Information Technology. The masters degree is provided in a number of streams which include Bio Medical, Civil (Structural Engineering) and Computer.

Infrastructure

The institute spreads over a large land area of 75 acres with greenery spread everywhere which provides serenity and calmness to the environment. The college’s infrastructure is state of the art. It has all the necessary facilities for budding talents. It also provides the facility of separate hostelling to girls and boys.

Admission Procedure

The candidates first of all need to qualify a written entrance examination in order to secure a seat. There are special quotas for depressed class students.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate is eligible for admission only if he/she has secured at least 45% marks in aggregate at the higher secondary or equivalent level. This boundary is only 30% for SC/ST candidates.
