NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) Papers
The Entrance test for MBA in famous Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies is NMAT. The institute is in Mumbai. It is a Multiple Choice Question based test. This test consists of questions on data interpretation, Language Skills, Data Sufficiency, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages and the admission of a candidate depends on his meeting the standards of the selection process. The test is computer based and is conducted throughout the country. Candidates who are shortlisted after the written test are called for a group discussion and a personal interview.
NMAT score is required for getting admission to the programs like MBA (Core), MBA (Full Time), MBA (Capital Markets), MBA (Banking Management), MBA (Pharmaceuticals Management), MBA (Actuarial Science), MBA (Part Time), EPGDBM, and Doctoral programme (Ph.D.).
Paper Pattern
NMAT consists of 120 questions with time allowed for the paper is 120 minutes. The questions are all objective types with alternative answers. Candidates are required to mark the correct answer. The sections of the paper are Language Skills, Quantitative Ability, and Logical Reasoning. There is negative marking for wrong answers. For every incorrect answer 0.75 marks are deducted as penalty. So students should be careful while answering the paper.
