Marthandam College of Engineering and Technology (MACET) is the result of the consistent toil of the Marthandam Educational & Charitable Trust (MECT). Campus

The college has a central library filled with books, CDs, journals and newspapers, which every student is a member of. A well equipped reading room is also a part of the facilities available. They have access to internet of 2mpbs speed in the computer laboratory where they may prepare for seminars and even GRE or TOEFEL. A modern canteen with separate vegetarian and non vegetarian floors are present to cater to the basic needs of the pupils. The institution promotes games. The playground is well equipped for almost all sorts of sports and games. Separate hostel for girls and boys with proper security is also present in the campus. The clinic in the college is managed by qualified physicians with proper and modern medical facilities.

The institute offers bachelor’s degree in engineering in the fields of electrical, electronics, civil, mechanical, computer and information technology.

Admission procedure

Admission is largely based on the marks obtained in plus 2 examinations of the candidate but management quota students are selected by the management. Fee structure and age limit is as per the government of Tamil Nadu.

The placement cell of the college is what guides the student towards a successful career. Leading companies like HCL Chennai, TCS, CTS , Accenture and SRM group have recruited students of MACET.
