Chaitanya College of Education was established in the year 2008 by a group of eminent personalities belonging to an Educational & Charitable Society. The education course offered by the college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and the college is affiliated to Andhra University.

Course Details:

As mentioned earlier, Chaitanya College of Education is offering Bachelor of Education course and its duration is one year. The college has an intake capacity of 100 students from different areas of education like social studies, physical science, biological science, mathematics, etc…

Aims & Objectives of the College:

Chaitanya College of Education was established with the objective of offering quality education at reasonable cost. The college also aims at offering financial assistance to deserving students and at producing committed and efficient teachers with the willingness to work in rural areas. As a step towards accomplishment of its goals and objectives, the college encourages the students to take up the profession of teaching not only in urban areas, but also in rural areas.

Facilities offered by the college:

The facilities offered by Chaitanya College of Education are divided into physical facilities, instructional facilities and other facilities. Physical facilities include the availability of the required materials for playing of games like skipping, volleyball, shuttle, rings, football, tennis, cricket, chess and carom. Instructional facilities include the availability of equipment pertaining to laboratories like media lab, educational technology lab, psychology lab and science lab. Instructional facilities also include computer lab. Library at the college, playground and canteen are classified under the category of other facilities.

College library:

The college maintains a good library with a wide collection of encyclopedias, reference books, textbooks and periodicals/journals. The library has a collection of nearly 3500 books with respect to B. Ed, more than 550 reference books, more than 1000 general books and eight encyclopedias. It is also subscribing for four newspapers, eight journals and five magazines.
