Modern Office paper under the Diploma in computer office management from Vardhaman Mahaveer University is a theoretical paper on the concepts that are required for the usage of computer applications like Microsoft office and other software related topics. It is coded as DCOM 05 and is one of the five papers encountered in this course.

Paper pattern:

Modern Office paper under the Diploma in computer office management is a subjective paper where one is expected to answer with long elaborate answers on the questions asked. There are a total of eight questions and one has to choose five questions from them to be attempted. All the questions have been divided into sub parts so that one finds it easier to answer them and has equal marks allotted so choosing of a question is made easier  as well.

Maximum time allotted and maximum marks:

The total marks obtainable in this paper are 100 marks and the time allotted to attempt all the question is three hours. As there is an  equal distribution of marks one needs to distribute time accordingly. Each question is of 20 marks and five twenty marks question leads to a total of 100 marks in the paper.
