Company profile: Rites Limited is a govt. undertaking and it was established in the years 1974. It covers a large no. of sectors like railways, airports, ports and harbour, highways, IT, bridges etc. Presently it is working on 600 projects in India and 30 projects overseas.

Job profile: The engineers will be required to work in departments like electrical, mechanical, civil and S&T in various areas like railways, airports etc. They will be responsible for execution of various activities like planning, design, operation etc.

Eligibility: Only SC/ST can apply. The age limit for the post of an engineer is 37 years as on 01.08.09 and 34 years for the post of technical assistant.

Educational Qualifications
: A candidate must have a degree (for engineers) and diploma (for assistants) in the relevant branch with minimum of 50% marks from a recognize university. A candidate must have a minimum experience of 2 years in the relevant area.

No. of posts: There are 29 posts in total. There are 7 posts for SC and 22 posts for ST.

Pay scale: The engineers will be given a pay scale of Rs16400-40500 and the assistants will be given a scale of Rs10700-26000. Other usual allowances will be given as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their qualifications and then they will be called for an interview or a written test as decided by the company.
