Eligibility requirements:

Optometry Courses: For getting into the diploma in Contact Lens Practice course, candidates must have completed their diploma or degree in ophthalmology or optometry from a recognized university or institution. For Optometrical Science diploma, candidates with 10+2 or equivalent in science stream of education and even candidates with arts and commerce background can apply to this course, however, these students will have to undergo pre-optometry & pre-technology course of six months duration simultaneously with the main course.

Paramedical Courses: For all five diploma and two certificate courses offered under this category, candidates with 10+2 or equivalent in science stream of education and even candidates with arts and commerce background can apply to this course, however, these students will have to undergo pre-optometry & pre-technology course of six months duration simultaneously with the main course.

Vocational Courses: For all the certificate courses offered under this category, candidates must have completed their Madyamik or equivalent course.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will have to appear before the selection committee board or an entrance examination might also be conducted according to the decision of the selection committee. Candidates will be announced regarding the date of written test (if any) when submitting their application form if they submitted the application in person.  In case, a candidates submits the application through post, a self-addressed stamped envelope of 11 x 25 cm should be attached so that they will be sent the admit card telling the details about the date of written test and/or interview. List of selected candidates will be displayed in the notice board of the college.

How to apply:

The cost of application is Rs.150 and this should be paid in cash or in DD drawn in favor of the name of the college for getting the application form. Completed application should be submitted in person or through post to the Administrator-cum-principal of the college.
