The Insurance Institute of India conducts the Fellowship examination every year, under the fellowship scheme come various branches. One of them is the Reinsurance branch. The Reinsurance paper is very important paper in the fellowship examination.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

The minimum qualification required for the students to appear for this paper is graduation from any stream; however candidates who have mathematics in their graduation will have an edge over other students.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

Equal marks are provided for all questions. There is no negative marking for any incorrect answers, rather zero marks are provided for any incorrect answers. Questions are all of subjective types.

Mode of Exam:

This paper is a written paper and is to be answered on the corresponding answer booklet provided for the same.

Format:

This 100 marks paper consists of no objective questions and only reasoning and theoretical type of questions carrying equal marks each.

Paper Pattern:

The question paper consists of a total of 8 questions out of which only 5 have to be answered by the candidates. Each question carries 20 marks. Questions are from all parts of the syllabus therefore a good preparation is mandatory.

Marking:

The correct answers are awarded 20 marks and for the wrong answers zero marks are awarded. There is no provision of negative marking in the paper. The maximum mark for the paper is 100.

Schedule:

All candidates are provided only 3 hours to complete their paper. Answer sheets are immediately taken away after the completion of the required time.
