How to fill National Dairy Research Institute Ph.D Entrance Exam forms?

National Dairy Research Institute is a leading institute in the Dairy Research sector of India. The institute offers research programmes and courses in different areas such as Diary production, its management, and processing. The institute offers Ph.D programmes in 12 different subjects. The institute conducts entrance exam to select eligible candidates to the Ph.D courses. The candidates who wish to appear for the Ph.D entrance exam can get the form through post.

Instructions to be followed while filling the form

The candidates can get the application form along with the information booklet through post. For this, the candidates should sent a request letter along with a DD of Rs. 1200/-.

Given below are a few rules to be followed by the applicants while completing the form.

  • The application should be made in the format mentioned in the brochure
  • Complete the form in block letters (where mentioned)
  • Enter the full address including Pin code, E-mail, and Telephone number
  • All the columns should be filled
  • Attach the attested copy of the date of birth certificate
  • Attach the attested copy of the certificates and mark lists of all the examinations from 10th to Bachelor’s degree
  • Affix three recent passport size photographs at the appropriate space in the form or admit card
  • Do not furnish the entries with wrong information
  • Put the signature on the required spaces in the application form
  • The applicants must send all the correspondences to the Joint Director, National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal-132001
  • The completed application should be sent by registered post
  • The candidates should submit all the documents and mark sheets at the time of registration

Exemptions to be taken care while filling the form

Following are the exemptions to be taken care during the completion of application:

  • Do not forget to write the full name and registration number on the back of DD
  • The SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% marks on the total marks required
  • The SC/ST candidates should submit a certificate from a first class Magistrate of a Competent/District Authority
  • There is no relaxation on minimum age limit for SC/ST candidates
  • The in-service applicants will not have any entrance test

Acknowledgement of the Exam Application Form

The institute will not dispatch any particular acknowledgement card to the candidates. The applicants who are selected for the interview will get an Admit Card from the institute. Those who did not get the Admit Card one week before the date of interview should contact the office of the institute. The institute will inform the applicants who are not eligible to attend the entrance exam.
