Admission Process in Saint Joseph’s Commerce College, Bangalore
Admission to bachelor degree course like B.Com is offered on the basis of merit. Those who have completed 12th class with Commerce and Accountancy as subjects are eligible to apply for B.Com course.
By paying Rs. 200/- one can collect the application form from the office of Saint Joseph’s Commerce College. It can also be obtained via College website. Those who download the application from College website must enclose a DD amount of Rs. 300/- while sending in the application. From the applications received, candidates are short-listed for interview on the basis of marks. List of those candidates will be displayed in the college notice board or in their official website.
Admission to BBM course is offered through written exam, Group Discussion, and interview carried out by the College itself. Those who pass through these three stages can seek admission to BBM course. In this case, cost of application form collected from college office amounts to Rs.500/- and DD amounts to Rs. 600/-, other conditions remains same as that of B.Com Course.
Selection to M.Com and M.I.B courses is also done through written test and interview. General Commercial Knowledge, English Language and Quantitative ability forms the syllabus of the test. Those who pass the test have to attend personal interview for final selection.
Postgraduates, Undergraduates or working professionals can apply for any of the PG diploma programs. Selection to the course is offered on the basis of marks obtained in UG/PG course. One can collect the application form for these courses by paying Rs. 400/-at College office. Those who had collected the application from college web portal must enclose a DD of Rs. 500/- while submitting the application.
