Re: After 10th I have completed diploma in mechanical engineering can I do 5 years LLB?
No, you cannot do a 5-year LLB course after completing a diploma in mechanical engineering.
The minimum eligibility criteria for a 5-year LLB course is a bachelor's degree in any discipline. You can either complete a 3-year bachelor's degree in any discipline or a 4-year bachelor's degree in law (LLB) after completing your diploma in mechanical engineering. However, there are a few universities that offer integrated 5-year BA LLB or BSc LLB courses. These courses are open to students who have completed their 12th standard with a science or commerce background. If you are interested in pursuing a career in law, you can also consider doing a 3-year LLB course after completing a bachelor's degree in any discipline. You can also do a 3-year LLB course after completing a diploma in law. The eligibility criteria for a 3-year LLB course vary from university to university. However, most universities require students to have completed their 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks. Some universities also require students to have taken certain subjects in their 12th standard, such as English, history, and political science. The admission process for a 3-year LLB course typically involves a written entrance exam and an interview. |
