It will be difficult to get admission in a government polytechnic with this rank if you belong to general category. There is good chance of admission in government colleges with your choice of stream if you belong to any reserved category.

Hence, you van surely attend the counselling but admission in your choice of stream is a bit difficult because there is a one of the popular streams.
