°°° Of course, you can join ITI course after passing for class 10th.
As you have an interest in Mechanical course hence you can join ITI course in mechanical trade and minimum percentage required to join this course is 40% in class 10th.
Most of the private Institutions across India will provide you with the direct admission based on your 10th or 12th percentage. However, all state governments are conducting entrance exams for admission in the Government ITI.
Admissions are conducted in the month of June or July every month but due to covid pandemic the admissions have been extended upto the month of August or September so, you have to check the detailed admission criteria of the college in which you want to seek admission.

There are many other trades in ITI which you can join in case you do not get admission in the course of your choice such as: fitter, mechanic (tractor) etc.
