Sir my name is omkumar I have completed my diploma so am I eligible or not for the a constable post?

Candidates need to go through the official notification to check the eligibility criteria for respective post

If in the notification it is mentioned that candidate must have 12th / diploma or equivalent qualification then you can appear for the examination.

Examination is conducted in various stages ( written and physical ).

Diploma holders are not eligible for constable post. Only those candidates are eligible for the post who have completed their 12th from a recognised board.

Eligibility Criteria for Police Constable Post:-
Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent from any recognised board.
There is no minimum percentage criteria.

Age of candidate must be from 18 to 22 years.

Height of candidate must be above 167cms.

Those who have completed their class 12th from a recognised board with atleast 60% marks are eligible.

The age limit is 18 to 27 years
For female candidates 18 to 25 years.

Diploma holders are not eligible for police constable post .

The educational qualification requirements are slightly different for different states. For constable posts, it is generally intermediate (10+2). The minimum educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board. A candidate's age must be between 18 years to 27 years for Male candidates and for Females should be between 18 years to 25 years as on 1st January 2022.

Candidates must have 12th passed from a recognized university are eligible for Constable post.

Minimum age limit should be 18 year and Maximum 25 years.

Candidates citizenship should be an Indian.
