A diploma is typically considered a level of education higher than SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) but lower than graduation (Bachelor's degree). A diploma program usually requires one to two years of study after completing high school or its equivalent, whereas a Bachelor's degree program usually requires four years of study.

The level of education and the knowledge and skills gained through a diploma program can vary depending on the field of study and the institution offering the program. In some cases, a diploma may provide more practical, job-specific training than a Bachelor's degree, which may be more theoretical or academic in nature.

While a diploma is not equivalent to a degree, it can be a valuable credential in certain fields and industries, as it provides students with specialized knowledge and practical skills that are directly relevant to their career goals. Diplomas are often offered in technical or vocational fields, such as healthcare, engineering, or information technology, and can lead to entry-level positions or career advancement opportunities. Overall, while a diploma is not equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, it can still be a valuable qualification that can lead to employment opportunities or further education.

No, a diploma course pursued after Class 10th (SSLC) or Class 12th is not equivalent to a bachelor/graduation degree course.

In general full time diploma course is treated as equivalent to higher secondary school degree i.e; Intermediate degree/ 2nd PUC/ Class 12th.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
