Hello Sir/Madam, I want to apply and appear in DCECE of 2019. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this entrance test for this year. Please tell me immediately.

Eligibility to Apply for DCECE 2019

- You need to have class 10th qualification with minimum 35% marks from a recognised board. Those who are looking for lateral entry must have ITI diploma in concerned trade.

- Ther is no upper age limit to apply and you just need to have the minimum qualification.

Eligibility to apply for the DCECE 2019 is given below:

For Polytechnic Engineering (PE):

Candidates who have passed Class X or its equivalent examination with at least 35% marks

There is no minimum and maximum age limit

For Part Time Polytechnic Engineering (PPE):

Candidates should have passed Class 10th examination or any other equivalent examination with two years ITI certificate or candidates who have passed Class X + 2 years’ work experience

Candidates should have completed at least 19 years as on 1st July, 2019

For Para Medical Dental (PMD):

Those candidates who have passed 10th standard examination or its equivalent examination with Science and English as compulsory subjects

Candidates should be in the age group of 15 years to 30 years

For Para Medical (PM):

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology and English subjects

Candidates in the age group of 17 years to 32 years are eligible

The required Eligibility to apply for DCECE 2019 is given below.

1. DCECE 2019 Eligibility criteria - PE

** The candidate should have passed 10th class with at least 35% from a recognized board.

** There is no minimum and maximum age limit.

2. Eligibility criteria of DCECE 2019 - PPE

** The candidate should have passed 10th class and 2 years ITI certificate from a recognized board of education.

** The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years as on July 1, 2019.

DCECE Eligibility Criteria 2019

Academic qualification - The candidate must have passed Class X exam or any equivalent exam, and also hold a hold a two-year ITI certificate.

Age limit – The candidate needs to be no less than 18 years of age as on July 1, 2019.

Eligibility to apply for DCECE 2019;

Candidates must fulfill the domicile criteria of Bihar state.

For PE (Polytechnic Engineering):

PPE (Part Time Polytechnic Engineering):

PMD (Para Medical-Dental (Matric Level)

You should have passed 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.

You must be minimum 15 years & maximum 30 years as on 31st December 2019.

PM (Para Medical Intermediate Level):

You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.

You must be minimum 17 years & maximum 32 years as of 31st December 2019.

Eligibility criteria-

The candidate should be an Indian national and must belong to at at least one of the following categories:

Either parents must belong to state of Bihar on must have been a Refugee in the state / be the employees of Bihar.

For Polytechnic Engineering, there is no age limit as specified.

For 4 years part time Polytechnic, the minimum age should be 19 years.

For paramedical dental course, minimum and maximum age should be 15 and 30 years.

For GNM course minimum and maximum age should be 17 years and 35 years respectively.


For Polytechnic Engineering, a candidate must have secured at least 35% marks in 10th class from Bihar School Examination Board for a similar recognised board.

For paramedical dental course, 10th pass from CBSE is eligible.

For diploma in pharmacy, candidate must have passed in intermediate science or equivalent examination.

The eligibility criteria to apply for DCECE (Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination) is:-

==> Candidates should an Indian Citizen.

==> Candidates must be a permanent resident of Bihar state and must fulfill the domicile criteria.

The qualification criteria as per the exams are below.

For PE(Polytechnic Engineering)

==> Candidates must have passed 10th class or its equivalent with minimum 35% marks.

==> There is no age limit for this examination.

For PPE(part Time Polytechnic Engineering)

==> Candidates must have passed 10th class or its equivalent with 2 years of ITI, or 2 years experience.

==> Candidate minimum age should be 19 years as on 1st July 2019.

For PMD(Para Medical-Dental(Matric Level)

==> Candidates must have passed 10th class or its equivalent with Science and English as compulsory subjects with minimum 50% marks for general category and for SC/ST it is 45% marks.

==> candidate age should be in between 15 to 30 years.

For PM(Para Medical Intermediate level)

==> Candidates must have passed 10th class or its equivalent with Science and English as compulsory subjects with minimum 40% marks for general category and for SC/ST it is 35% marks.

==> candidate age should be in between 17 to 32 years for general category and for SC/ST it is in between 17 to 35 years.

The Eligibility criteria for the applicants to do the DCECE 2019 are

- Applicants should be Indian National, or either parent must belong to the state of Bihar, and there is no age Limit for the applicants

- Applicants must have to secure at least 35% marks in 10th class from Bihar school examination board, and who are appearing for the 10th examinations they can also apply.

The eligibility to apply for the DCECE is that candidate must have passed 10th from a recognised board and the minimum aggregate is 35 %.

There is no upper age limit to appear for the examination.

The last date of filling online application is 18th May 2019.

So, if you have the required qualification then you are eligible to apply for it.
