Yes,you can get addmission to 2nd year B.tech by cracking the LEET entrance exam conducted by various colleges.For appearing for LEET you must have minimum 60% aggrigate marks in diploma last year.

Yeah sure, you are eligible to apply for B.Tech course through lateral entry after completing diploma course. There are various top institutions and colleges offering B.E/B.Tech lateral entry programs in several branches like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science.

The candidate can join B.Tech course through payment seat or lateral entry entrance examination. Various top institution offering the lateral entrance examination every year. To join these courses, the candidate should have completed diploma course from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate and 55% Marks for reserved categories.The candidate should have a minimum 20 years of age.

Different Lateral Entrance Examinations :-

West Bengal University Joint Entrance Examinations
USKEE B.Tech Lateral Entrance Examination
Delhi Technical University
Kerala University

Mostly the application forms are available in the month February or March in the official website of University. Some top universities are started earlier to issue the application form for lateral entry. The application forms are available both modes online and offline.

The admission will be purely based on the merit basis. The entrance examination will be divided into different sections like Written Test as well as personal Interview. Written examination consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, General Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude.
