Hello Sir, I am interested to study Diploma in Agriculture from The Gandhigram Rural Institute. Can you please let me know about the entrance exams through which I can secure admission for this Diploma course in this institute?

There is no entrance examination for the admission to study Diploma in Agriculture course at The Gandhigram Rural Institute. Admission to the Diploma in Agriculture is done on the basis of marks scored in the Higher Secondary Examination. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examinations or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in any one of the group given below:
Group 1: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Group 2: Physics, Chemistry, Biology with fourth subject of any science subject
Group 2A: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology
Vocational stream: pass in Higher Secondary examinations with at least 60% marks in Biology and Agricultural Practices and also in practical papers.
