I don't know that diploma guys are eligible for RTO jobs or not. How to get job in RTO after diploma in automobile engineering?

RTO exam are generally conducted by Public Service Commission of every state.

Those who have completed class 10th and are in age group 18 to 28 years can apply for clerk post.

Those who have completed graduation in engineering with 60% marks can apply for Assistant engineer post.
They must be between 21 to 30 years.


Those who have completed bachelor's degree in law and having age between 21 to 30 years are eligible for judicial post.

Selection of candidate is based on written exam and interview.
Thus a candidate can apply for the post according to their qualification.

How to get job in RTO after a diploma in automobile engineering?

1. The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

2. Minimum age 19 years and maximum age 38 years. There is some age relaxation awarded for other backward category.

To get a job in RTO a candidate must have an educational qualification of 10+2 from a recognized board. If you are a diploma holder then also you can apply and a candidate with a graduation degree can also apply. The age limit varies from 21 years to 30 years. The State Public Commission conducts the RTO examination. After qualifying for the written test you will have to clear fitness and medical test and after all these tests the final round will be the interview round.

You want to become Officer in RTO for it you should have to get graduation degree. You are not eligible for RTO Inspector Job After completing Diploma in Automobile.

Should have graduation degree from any recognized university .

Exam for RTO Inspector Job will held by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Rs 14800 – 34000

You can not become direct RTO.
It is a rank promoted post. At first you should work as Asst.\ Motor vehicle inspector.
It requires a light and heavy vehicle license with a diploma in mech\auto\BEmech\auto. Rules are varying from state to state, regarding educational qualification.

After completing diploma in automobile engineering, you have to appear in the UPSC exam and have to qualify for the exam to get a job in RTO.

How to get job in RTO after diploma in automobile engineering?

RTO exam is conducted by state PSC. The RTO exam is divided into three stages. The first stage is written examination.

Candidates should be at least 21 years of age and must be Indian citizens.

Candidates must have passed in 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education. Diploma candidates are also eligible for some post.

Eligibility: Candidates must have the Mechanical Engineering/Diploma in Automobile degree from a recognized university/institution.

Age limit: 18 to 35.

Salary details: Pay scale between Rs 14800 – 34000/- Application fee: Rs. 200/-
