Dear friends, I would like to know about the updated pattern of Delhi Polytechnic Common Entrance Exam for admission in Diploma course. Actually I am planning to apply for Delhi Polytechnic Common Entrance Exam but don’t know about the pattern. Can you please let me know about the pattern asap.

Pattern of Delhi Polytechnic Common Entrance Exam 2019:-

The examination will be held in online mode or computer-based test .

The question paper will be available in Hindi and English both the languages

The question paper consists of total 150 question of MCQ type.

The question paper will be divided into five sections:
Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, English and Biology.

The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

There will be a penalty of 1 mark for each incorrect answer and 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.

The pattern of Delhi Polytechnic Common Entrance Exam 2019 are as follows:-
Mathematics - 50 questions
Physics - 40 questions
Chemistry - 30 questions
Biology - 15 questions
English - 15 questions

Syllabus - The question paper will be set of CBSE syllabus of Class 9th and 10th.

The pattern of Delhi Polytechnic Common Entrance Exam 2019 are as follows:-
Mode- pen-and-paper based.
Duration of exam- 2 hrs 30 min.
Medium of examination- tests are available in both Hindi and English languages.
Syllabus- the question paper will be on the basis of CBSE syllabus of Class IX & X.
Question type- 150 objective-type questions.
Marking scheme- each correct answer carries 4 marks while for incorrect response 1 mark will be deducted. Total marks for the paper will be 600.
Subjects required-
Mathematics- 50 questions
Physics- 40 questions
Chemistry- 30 questions
Biology- 15 questions
English- 15 questions

Pattern of Delhi Polytechnic Common Entrance Exam 2019:-

The application process will start from -March 2019

End date for application process - April 2019

Correction in the application form - April 2019

Admit card can be downloaded - May 2019

Entrance examination date of Delhi Polytechnic 2019 - June 2019

The announcement of result - June 2019

Counselling will start from - June 2019.

EXAMINATION PATTERN

1. Examination Mode: As per my knowledge, the exam will be conducted in offline mode.

2. Total Question = 150

3. Duration = 2 hours and 30 Minutes.

4. Type of Questions: Objective type

5. The candidate will be rewarded by 4 marks in case of each correct answer and punished by 1 mark in case of the wrong answer.
