Hello Sir, my daughter wants to apply for the Uttar Pradesh Pre-Matric Minority Scholarship. I don’t know what benefits she will get if she applies for this scholarship as she is studying in 9th standard. So, I just want to know about the benefits of applying for this type of scholarship. The scholarship amount is determined on the the basis of the need of student and his / her academic merit. This financial aid covers a student's tuition fee, non refundable fees, stationary and some other requirements.

The most important benefit of applying in Uttar Pradesh Pre-Matric Minority Scholarship 2020 is that the candidates belonging to Minority community whose family income is less than RS.1,00,000 will get an opportunity to continue their studies without any financial hurdle as their whole fee will be reimbursed.

••• UP Scholarships- Rewards of Pre-matric scholarships

The social welfare department provides financial assistance and other benefits to the students selected under pre Matric UP scholarships. The scholarship amount is determined on the basis of the need of student and his or her academic merit. This financial aid covers a student's tuition fee, stationary and some other requirements.

This pre-matric scholarship is meant for those UP-domicile students who belong to SC/ST/General category. The key objective of this scholarship is to promote secondary education among children of Uttar Pradesh and encourage them to complete their matriculation studies.

The selected scholars will receive -

Maintenance allowance up to INR 1,200 per month for hostellers
Maintenance allowance up to INR 550 per month for day scholars
Additional provision for ST students with disabilities of up to INR 240 per month
Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
Study tour charges up to INR 1,600 per annum
Thesis typing/printing charges up to INR 1,600 per annum
INR 1,200 per annum for students pursuing correspondence
