I have got admission in BTech college. I am studying in 1st semester. Though I have paid for admission and 1st semester. Now, I got financial crisis in my family. I have newly opened my Bank account 6 months ago. So, can I get a loan to study further semesters? I have opened account in Allahabad Bank. Thus, they will give loan to me?

There is no issue with bank account opening date if you fulfill all other conditions for the education loan. Just make sure you have got a guarantor and all the required documents when you are applying for education loan.

You should have secured admission at a recognised college or institute before approaching the bank branch. Also, the guarantor should have a regular flow of income.
