Hello Sir/Madam, my son is studying in 8th standard. I want to apply for the Assam Pre-Matric SC Scholarship so that he can get a scholarship amount for his education. I want to know about my eligibility. So, please let me know about the eligibility criteria of 2020 for appearing in this scheme?

°°° Applicant should belong to schedule caste.

°°°Family income should not exceed rupees 2.50 lacs per annum.

°°°Applicant must not avail other pre Matric Scholarship that is funded by the central government.

°°°Applicant must hold an Aadhar Card and should be a regular student studying in government school or private which are government by the recognised Board of the country.

°°°Scholarship will be provided only for one class and if the students fail in the exam and repeat the class then scholarship will be cancelled.

Eligibility to apply for Assam Pre-Matric SC Scholarship 2020:-

> Be a domicile of Assam.
> Belong to scheduled caste.
> Be a regular, full time students studying in class 9 or 10th.
> Have an annual family income not exceeding INR 2.5 lakh
> Not be getting an other centrally funded pre matric scholarship.
> be enrolled in a government school or in a school recognised by the government or a central/ State board of secondary education.

Eligibility to apply for Assam Pre-Matric SC Scholarship 2020 is as follows.

Applicant must be a domicile of Assam.

Applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC).

Applicant must be a regular, full-time student studying in Class 9 or 10.

Applicant's annual family income not exceeding INR 2.5 lakh.

Applicant must not be getting any other centrally-funded pre-matric scholarship.

Applicant must be enrolled in a government school or in a school recognized by the government or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.

Applicant can apply for this scholarship before 30.10.2020.

To be eligible for scholarship, an applicant must:-

* Have passed 10th from a recognised board.
* Not beholding any scholarship/ stipend.
