Hello Sir, I am doing an MTech program right now. Am I eligible to apply for the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Research Associateship? I would like to know about the eligibility criteria. Please tell me asap.

Eligibility to apply for the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Research Associateship 2020:-

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

Be below 28 years on the last date of application (Note: relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC candidate as per Government of India norms is applicable)

Hold an undergraduate degree( BE / BTech) in mechanical / mechatronics / bio-medical / electronics / electrical /or other relevant branches with marks not below 70%(7.5 CGPA).


Have exposure to work in any area related to robotics, exoskeleton, multi-body dynamics, assistive device, control


Have good knowledge of dynamics and control .

Have good hardware knowledge along with their languages such as LabVIEW / MATLAB.

°°° An applicant must be below 40 years of age as on the last date of application.

°°° An applicant must hold a PhD degree in engineering in the areas related to Robotics, exoskeleton multibody dynamics, assistive devices, control.

°°° An applicant must hold a post-graduate degree with specialisation in Robotics / design / mechatronics / biomedical / electrical / electronics / instrumentation and other relevant areas with marks not below 60% and a basic undergraduate degree with marks not below 60%.

°°° An applicant must have good hardware knowledge along with languages such as LabVIEW/MATLAB

• Have good hardware knowledge along with language such as MATLAB and LabVIEW.
