I would like to know about the process through which I can apply for an education loan in State Bank of India. Actually, I am interested to study MBBS and for this I want to apply for an education loan. Kindly help me to know about this.

You have to submit the documents like Admission Letter, Income Proof, Address Proof, Identity Proof, etc., to bank for processing your education loan.

To apply for an education loan in State Bank of India for pursuing MBBS course, you can directly visit the nearest bank branch or through online at the bank official website at https://www.vidyalakshmi.co.in/Students/. To be eligible to apply for an education loan in State Bank of India, you should have secured admission in MBBS course in a recognised college/ university.

Students can apply online via Vidyalakshmi portal or can contact the SBI branch for getting education loan to study MBBS. Students can get up to Rs 10 Lakhs for studies in India (higher loan limit for studies in India are considered on a case to case basis). Students have to provide necessary security for getting education loan in SBI. They have to provide 5% margin for education loan above Rs 4 Lakhs for studies in India. They have to apply with necessary documents like Address Proof, ID Proof, Academic Records, Proof of Admission, Fee Schedule, etc. for getting education loan from SBI.
