What is the annual income limit for scholarship eligibility?
My father is a retired bank employee. His annual income is above 3.5 lakh. I belong to st caste. I would like to know whether I am eligible for scholarship in professional courses?

Annual income of parents should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs per annum for scholarships. Students should not receive any other funding from the Central Government. Applicant must be a regular student of Government School or School recognized by Government or Central/State Board of Secondary Education.

The income limit differs depending on the Scholarship for which one has applied.
For scholarship available to disable person Annual family income must not exceed 2.5 lacs For getting subsidy in interest rate in education loan, the family annual income must not exceed 2.5 lacs. For some Scholarship , the limit is 6.0 lacs For minority affairs INR 2.0 lac For labor 1 to 2 lacs For Maharashtra scholarship , the income must not exceed 2.5 lacs. |

The eligibility criteria to apply for a scholarship are stated below.
1. Students must have completed class 12 with at least 80% of marks from any recognized board or Institute in order to be eligible for a merit scholarship. 2. The parental income of the candidate should not exceed Rs. 4.5 lacs per annum. If you satisfy the requirements listed above, then you are qualified. |

The family's annual income as a whole should not be more than Rs.2.5 lakhs to get eligible for the scholarship scheme.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must have completed class 12 with at least 80% of the recommended marks from any recognized board or institution. |
