im doing bpharm 2nd yr im cofusing about wt 2 opt after bpharm either GRE or mpharm in india........ which has d best future.... and aso pl suggest is it necessary to do mpharm after d completion of bpharm?????? pl suggest me tnq

both the courses your are thinking for are the best in their respective fields.......

the thing which makes a difference is that.....

mpharma....is a course available in India .....
and GRE is available in US,UK.....and other foreign university......

there is a lot of expense in going for GRE.......if you can afford that then it is the best course you can do......the application form of GRE only costs 10,000.......

but in comparison mpharma will cost you a bit less than GRE.....

gre will annually cost you around 12-15 lacs......

both have equivalent scope and job profile.....

Both GRE as well as M.pharma are good.It is where your interests lies that you must opt for.
While M.pharma is suggested only if you have done B.Pharma because it will help you to excel in the fields.
But GRE(Graduate Record Examination) is a scholarship based test conducted for the post graduate in foreign countries like US ,UK ,Australia etc.It is preferable only if you are interested in particular field.You will get lot of opportunity

GRE is better as it gives you the scholarship to study in abroad.

Its you personal choice. Definately GRE is the better than MPharm but its costly. If you can afford for the course then why not you should surely go for it.

I will advice you to appear for both the exams and see into which you get. If not GRE, MPharm is the best.

Its not compulsory to do MPharm after BPharm but if you want to take your career to the next level then its necessary

Its upto you only.
I would suggest you to take GRE test. If you score well and get a good scholarship then you must go foreign for higher studies. If you don't score well in GRE then do your MPharm from India itself.
There is no question of choosing one. Just try GRE first and if you succeed first option is good enough. Otherwise 2nd option ie. Mpharm from India is OK.

you can complete b.pharm after that you can get admission in m.pharm because m.pharm is a master degree program. and various famous in india also.

see, if you want to do Mpharm from india then no need for gre.

you must prepare for gate exam.

but if you want to do other courses like MBA from abroad.

then it will be better to attain GRE.

GRE and MPharma exams are both different in its nature and field of applicability.
GRE exam is basically related to get admission in foreign universities after getting good marks in GRE. You will get admission in any master degree course if you take this exam successfully.
For Mpharma there is an exam named GPAT is conducted every year for admission in MPharma course. You may refer this weblink for further info:

By the way , it is better to get a master degree in pharmacy, but since you are interested in GRE , you have to be very sound with your english language from vocabulary point of view. Get the basic info of GRE at http://www.ets.org/gre/

giving GRE or TOFEL exams doesn't makes any sense
you are a graduate student having bpharma and you are still in 2nd year don't think about much for all these things,concentrate on your studies first, do well in that,

then go for mpharma, because doing bpharm and then GRE, its quite absurd

so go for mpharma

I would suggest you to take Mpharm rather than taking risks in various ways for GRE.

In india Mpharm is one of the good demanding course.

it is preferred to do m pharma after b pharma ........
becoz it would matches with ur curriculum of the b pharma

if you want to do your M.S in pharmacy in U.S.A. , you need to write gre exam .IT IS OF 1600 marks of which 800 for maths and 800 for english.
The other option for you is to do your M.PHARMACY in INDIA you need to write GPAT exam.both are good and you can opt anyone..

i hope doing m.pharmacy is better than GRE because if you have done m.pharmacy the cost of study will be less and your talent will be helpful to our country.if you have done GRE the cost of expenditure will be very high and that standards will not be suitable to our country because they will use very advanced techniques then you should settle their itself.
and atlast your choice will be depend upon your economical status

SO i would suggest you to first set your mind either you want to do GRE /M.pharm

You should be aware of all the benefits of the course whicheveryou pursue
so for that .

AND YES ,going abroad is only good when you are getting 100% scholarship if not then it would be too costly

PLEASE GO FOR M.PHARM AS YOU HAVE ALREADY QUALIFIED GPAT IN THIS YEAR no needto drop your year
you can join a coching inntitiute that will provide you a training through weekend program in GRE/TOEFL/IELTS

so that you wil not loseyour one year if you not score good in GRE .


as in GRE you should score at least 1300 marks to get a scholarship
SO join m.pharm this year and prepare for gre side by side .
Give GRE exam only when you are fully prepared .

Hello friend,
After doing your B.pharm if you want to study in India and settle your carrier then M. pharm degree is sufficient for you, because after doing M, pharm , there also so many opportunity for you ! like R & D, clinical research, teaching etc.
But in case of Graduate Record Examination I mean GRE, this is for foreign country, also there is a benefit that this is scholarship based. If you want to study in abroad, then this is best for you!
