Re: Best books for IIT JEE preparation?
You should start IIT JEE preparation from the basic concepts. For this you should thoroughly study the NCERT books of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of class 11th and 12th. Then you should study some high level books like-
* Physics- Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma, Part 1 and 2 Books of Arihant Publications * Chemistry- O. P. Tondon Morrisson Boyed R. C. Mukherjee * Mathematice- R. D. Sharma A. Das Gupta Differential Calculus, Arihant Publication |

while preparing for the iitjee its important to refer the well understandable books. because if the data or the syllabus books is systematically arranged then it will be easy to understand the concepts. all the ncert books are helpful for the understanding of the concepts. for the physics book written by Dr. h.c.verma is much useful. for the study of the chemistry books written by o.p. tondon and o.c.agrawal are very much useful. also for the more practice you can refer books of dinesh publications for the chemistry. for the study of the maths you must prefer book of arihant publications because it is really helpful for solving variety of quality numericals. you can refer the question papers of the different coaching centers for the more practice. the above mentioned books are easily available on the local book stores. thanks and best luck |

Preparation for IIT-JEE though there are many books for IIT-JEE but none of the books will be able to provide you with the complete syllabus and total preparation for IIT-JEE so i would suggest you to buy the study material of any coaching institute which will be really helpful because that will contain all the syllabus for IIT-JEE plus it would have IIT-JEE level questions and chapter wise break-up and explanation of each topic in PCM.. it is always better to take up coaching for IIT-JEE unless you have someone to guide you for the correct preparation.. the teachers at the coaching centre share valuable experience which will help you a lot in your approach for the exams and moreover..the best thing is..you will be having someone from whom you can clear all your doubts.. its totally your personal choice to do whatever you feel is good for you.. as far as books are concerned for IIT-JEE preparations.. first of all..be completely thorough with your NCERT course books..after that for higher preparations..go for 1)M.L.Khanna for maths 2)Concepts of Physics 3)P.Bahadur for Chemistry and also go through the past papers of IIT-JEE..that will help you in understanding the level of the exam.. ~Hope this helps.. ~ With Warm Regards "Nitz" |

Re: Best books for IIT JEE preparation?
Though a lot of books are available in the market only few of them are exact according to JEE syllabus and depth.
Here are the names of few books which can help you out in the easiest way: Physics: First NCERT and then H. C. Verma, D. C. Pandey Chemistry: NCERT(Most important), Pradeep objective chemistry, O. P Tandon, Maths: NCERT, Arihant Series, M. L. Khanna., R.D. Sharma for IITJEE Other tips: Though many may suggest solving IRODOV for PHYSICS I woould say that it may increase your level but as far as JEE is concerned it is a complete waste of time. As the questions asked in JEE are never so high level and not even half of it. Hope that will help you out. allthe best |

Re: Best books for IIT JEE preparation?
Hi
IIT JEE is one of the toughest undergraduate exams in our country, so it requires a very determined and sincere dedication to studies. Now a lot of books are there in the market, but only a few good books would be enough to explain the concepts of the subject to you. I am listing the best books, which are followed by most of the students. CHEMISTRY 1. NCERT is the most important for the Chemistry, and a few more are : 2. P.Bahadur(G.R.Bathla & Sons)- Numerical Chemistry- Physical Chemistry 3. O.P. Tandon- Physical Chemistry 4. O.P. Tandon- Inorganic Chemistry 5. O.P. Tandon- Organic Chemistry PHYSICS 1. H.C.Verma- Concepts of Physica Vol I and II. 2. I.E. Irodov- Problems in General Physics. 3. Halliday, Resnick & Walker- Fundamentals of Physics. MATHEMATICS 1. R.D. Sharma- Maths XI & XII 2. S. L. Loney- Trigonometry 3. S. L. Loney- Co-ordinate Geometry 4. Hall Knight- Higher Algebra And Arihant Publications of all. You should refer to these books mainly, to build up your basic concepts and they have enough questions for practice too.. All the best Regards #RJ# |

Re: Best books for IIT JEE preparation?
HI ,
Dude if you want to earn big bucks , want to lead your life poshly and want to settle in abroad and earn more my suggestion is to go for MCA . Masters in computer applications . MCA is a 3 year course. As you have done BCA , you are eligible for it . MCA programme is designed in such a way , a student after completion can get into IT field , in any sector may be like you can go to : Software Development Software Testing Technical Support Web Designing Networking HR and many more . after completion , easily with little efforts you can get job . and there will be intrenship project which you can do in any company , by this you can experience the industry culture , how to survive in industry and how to work , that all can be learned here . if you want to concentrate and want to get into same line like if you like java programming and want to be a java developer , apart from academics syllabus , join some crash course on java and in depth learn everything , easily you can get into company and become java developer . good luck .
